‘Northern Lights’ Public Art work created whilst Artist in Residence at the Swedish Polytechnic, Nykarleby, Finland. 2005
My installation in Jakobstad, Finland was part of a collaborative project with students and staff at Nykarleby Art School that included community involvement and a lantern street procession through the town of Jakobstad.
I worked on the installation in an underused town council building. It was a multi-media work with light and sound. The sound piece was in collaboration with Rasmus Hedlund.
